FBI memo: NCIC use didn't violate rules


The judge presiding over the vehicular homicide case against Carlos Fierro on Wednesday morning read a memo from an FBI official that said using a federal classified database for jury selection was not a violation of rules.

NCIC Clears Ruto, Kiraitu Over Hate Speech


The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has cleared Eldoret North Mp William Ruto and Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi of hate speech allegations made by the Law Society of Kenya. Commission chair Dr. Mzalendo Kibunjia says the material received from the LSK was analyzed and did not constitute hate speech. LSK Chairman Eric Mutua has however criticized the commission for what he termed as shoddy investigations and threatens to institute fresh hate speech charges against Ruto and Murungi.

NCIC puts tribal alliances on notice


The National Cohesion and Integration Commission is putting tribal groupings on notice. In what appears to be the strongest message yet to the now infamous KKK alliance, the cohesion commission says such alliances that isolate some ethnic communities will not be tolerated
