NCIC worried about spate of violence in N.Kenya


www.ntv.co.ke An unknown number of cattle raiders suspected to be coming from west Pokot have attacked Lokapel village in Turkana South and killed three people. Other four people were seriously injured when fighting ensued between the cattle raiders and the villagers.The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has termed the ongoing conflict in northern Kenya as politically motivated conflict. NCIC Chairman, Mzalendo Kibunjia says that the ongoing conflicts in Moyale and Isiolo are politically motivated, in anticipation of the forthcoming general election.
