Just a day after Chirau Ali Mwakwere was re-appointed to the cabinet, the National Cohesion and Integration Commission wants him prosecuted over alleged hate speech. The commission is also accusing Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere and Attorney General Amos Wako of failing to take action against Mwakwere despite what it claims is a clear case of hate speech during the Matuga by-election campaigns which saw Mwakwere recapture the seat. But as Abdi Osman reports, Wako has denied the claims by the commission, saying the police were still conducting investigations.
