Police, NCIC To Clamp Down On Hate Speech


Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere says the police will work closely with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission in clamping down on hate speech during the electioneering period. Iteere said the police were now equipped with monitoring gadgets to ensure they gather water tight evidence against suspects of hate speech. He was speaking at the launch of a training exercise for police officers and the NCIC on hate speech. Willis Raburu reports
